Kelly,

You are not alone in thinking that I have a book in which to do lookups.
You are the 14th person to ask me for a lookup in a book that I do not
have. Evidently you, like the others who have written to me, missed the
original message of Sheila Werner at <> offering to do
lookups, and you only saw my message to her requesting a lookup, in
which I quoted her original message as a reference. Please allow me to
use your most recent message to demonstrate how to read a series of
E-mail exchanges.

To read correctly the messages quoted below, you need to observe the
number of sidewise carets on the left. The highest number of carets
indicates the earliest message quoted, in this case Sheila's original
offer do do lookups. The next highest number of carets indicate the
lines I wrote in my request to Shiela, which included the quotation of
Sheila's original offer. The next lower number of carets indicate the
lines of your request to me to do a lookup for you, which includes
quotations of both my message to Sheila and Shiela's original message.

In any case, for the edification of all Listers, Sheila has the book and
I do not have it, so I am no more good to you than "a bump on a log."

Sheila can be contacted at <>.

Think that will get me off the hook, Sheila? (:D)

Cheers to all,

Nelson R. Sulouff
