I really need help sorting out the Hagans line I have from Lancaster, PA. My
direct line involves Samuel and Mary Hagans born very early 1800s. They had a
son Jacob Hagans born 1830. In trying to locate info on Samuel Jacob in New
Castle twp. Coshocton Co. Oh, I have uncovered numerous Samuel's all with
Lancaster, PA ties! I need help!
Does anyone know first of all of Samuel and Mary? I need to know if her maiden
name was Campbell. I have a death certificate for a Samuel Hagans born Jan 4,
1836 to Samuel and Mary Campbell Hagans. I really have a suspicion that he
might be Jacob's brother. Then I have a Samuel, son of John Hagans and
Elizabeth Gaunder. John was born in PA. and I strongly suspect he may have
been a brother too, and I have his son Samuel's death certificate also.
I really could use any and all help sorting these all out!!
