Rudolph ESSIG b. abt 1673 left Germany and arrived in PA 16 Sep 1736
with 2 sons, Georg Abraham b. abt 1696 and Hans Michael b. abt 1706. I
am descended from Hans Michael and have the descendants of several lines
to the present. I want to trace the family back into Germany and/or
Switzerland. I also have information on several other Essig/Essick lines
that I want to try to link up with my line. I will be glad to exchange
info with anyone who can assist in research. An Essick Family Ass'n was
meeting in S.E. PA from 1910 to about 1950. I would like to contact
anyone familiar with their work.
