Looking for information on Abraham BARR (b. 1797 Lancaster Co, Bart Twp,
PA, d. 1873 near Monitor, Tippecanoe Co, IN), m. Catharine Resh/Rush, Dec.
5, 1820, in Columbia, PA. This couple came from Lancaster Co, PA to
Tippecanoe Co, IN about 1836. Abraham's parents are supposed to be Abraham
Barr (1772-1848) and Betsy Brenecy HOWERY, and this is what I am trying to
prove. I have a letter addressed to Abraham b. 1797 in 1866 from a nephew
named D. W. Barr in Camargo, PA, apparently in answer to Abraham's letter
informing the family that his wife, Catherine, had died, and an
announcement of Catherine's death appeared in the Lancaster papers, so
there were still family and friends around at that time.

Any information appreciated.
