I am working on the following family names in Lancaster County. Glad to hear
from "Cousins"...Slaymaker, Eckman, Wood, Homsher, Helm, Ferree, Dubois,
Foster, Row, Myers, Frew....

Does anyone have any information on a Thomas Frew family that lived at one
time in Lancaster County next to Shaw Frew (1850 Census) ????? (Shaw was my
gggrandfather)------Shaw had a son James who was married to Rachel Foster.
James and Rachel had a son James who married Laura Eckman. Laura and James
had my dad Miles Eckman. Shaw was first married to Eleanor Butler and another
lady named Margaret was his widow. Thomas was listed as 26 in 1850, a laborer
who was born in Ireland. His wife was Jane and they had Mary, age 3 and Sarah
age 2. John Burns also lived with them. He was a laborer

Also looking for the family of Elizabeth Frew who married Joseph Wright in the
home of Shaw (his sister, I think). Elizabeth had Robert Kelso in 1834,
Joseph Sterling in 1836, Thomas Shaw in 1838, James, Andrew and David
birthdates unknown.
