I'm descended from two different MUSSELMAN lines in the Lancaster area. It
is the surname of both my parents, who came from neighboring counties in
Indiana, and I began genealogy to see if they connected anywhere in the past.
(They don't seem to.)

The maternal ancestor is CHRISTIAN MUSSELMAN. b 1668 Germany d 1734 Pa.
married Mary _____. From there it's DAVID b. 1710, Hempfield Township, Lanc
Co., m. Maria_____. DAVID (II) b 1750 d 1828, m. (2) Barbara Neff. Their son
JOHN b 1787 (Huntingdon Co), d 1860 Indiana. m. Susanna Shively. son DANIEL
T. b 1827 Pa d 1879 Indiana. m. Susanna Replogle. Their son DAVID LEWIS
MUSSELMAN b 1862 d 1936 m. Mary A. Wickard.

On father's side:
CHRISTIAN (another one) MUSSELMAN m. Maria (another one without a last
name)____. Christian b 1723 Pa, d 1798. Son JOSEPH b 1760 d 1807 m. Anna
Shelly. Son ABRAHAM b 1788 E. Donegal Township, Lancaster Co., d 1854. m.
Mary Foreman. Son SAMUEL b 1819, Lancaster Co. d 1915 Indiana, m. Mary
Firestone. Son FRANKLIN HARVEY MUSSELMAN 1876 d 1947 Indiana.

Is anyone else researching MUSSELMANS? Can anyone take either of my lines
farther back? Or fill in some blanks? Thanks,

Jan Hall
