I want to thank folks who sent me ideas and links on my mystery John Gish. I
haven't found anything more about him--but in the process of following leads,
I found more about his mother-in-law Mary "Polly" Bartley Miller, daughter of
George and Mary G. Bartley--a whole new generation. Her parents moved to
Albemarle co VA, though I don't know if she was ever down there or not.
George was a Rev. War patriot.

Thanks everyone. Don't ever give up--though letting some of them simmer on a
back burner when you can't chink through the brick walls sometimes works.
