Hi Jake, I'm Sandy, I saw your post and I have the 1850 census so I
checked for your ancestors, here is what I found:
Martin Stauffer 48, Peggy 46, Susanna 22, Menno 21, Maria 18, Isaac
17, Elizabeth 14, John 11, Lydia 8, Martin 6, Rebecca 2, they were farmers
all born in Pa. living in West Earl Twsp. Lancaster County
George Mellinger 51, Sophia 49, Levi 11, he was a weaver all b.
Pa. in Upper Leacock Twsp. Lancaster County. There was no Susanna living
with them anymore so I checked her name seperately and found her living with:
Christian Schwergert 74 he was a laborer Rebecca 41, and Susanna Mellinger
21, living in Brecknock Twsp. Lancaster County, maybe this is her
grandfather or just people she was working for. hope this helps, Sandy
