There was a specific area in Pennsylvania, called the Donation and
Depreciation lands, which were involved in any Pennsylvania Revolutionary
service. You'd have to look at a map, but this was in the northwest corner
of the State, around Venango / Mercer / Allegheny counties area. York and
Lancaster had already had their land apportioned out in earlier Warrants;
for a full list (or search) of the different groups of warrants, see the
PHMC web site at http://www.phmc.state.pa.us/ .

This is interesting. Do you know if there may have been bounty land granted
in Lancaster or York Counties?
