I doubt very seriously that Heritage Quest is intentionally allowing
everyone access to their website. I have had a subscription to them before,
and they certainly do not give it away for free. With that in mind, I don't
know that I would ask them about improving their search engine! I suspect
that the oversight will be corrected before too long and access will be
restricted.

For people who have ready access to local historical societies or libraries,
as well as the census images, it certainly will not be as helpful. For
those individuals who do not, however, there is a lot of information
available.
