Subject: [PALANCAS] Theophilus THOMAS in the Revolutionary War

Hi!
I have a Theophilus THOMAS of Chester County as an ancestor. Now
I am wondering if the fellow from the mid 1720's in Chester County
(a taxpayer) was even possibly the Theophelus THOMAS listed as being
in the Revolutionary War:
Thomas, Theophelus
Lieutenancy: Lancaster County. Batallion: 5th
Company: 4th Class: 7th
Authority: Class List
Date: 20 June 1781
Surely he seems to be too, too old! Yet, I would ask the list if
you know of him? Also, whether you know of him or not, what does
it mean when it says, Authority: Class List, and Class: 4th?
Thanks,
Vince Summers
