I am new to this list and as such am hoping somebody is able to help me in
my genealogy search efforts as follows:

My GGGGrandfather was Abraham Meyer/Myers b. in PA abt. 1770 and died abt.
1840-50 (I believe he was born in Lancaster Co., PA and died in Chester
Twp., Wayne Co., Ohio but of this I am not certain). Abraham married an
Elizabeth (unknown?) probably around 1790s also in PA.

At least one son was born to them, JOSEPH, abt. 1803 in PA. There may be
several other sons bearing the names of, Isaac, Jacob, John, Samuel, and
Henry/Heinrich as well as other daughters that I don't know who are.

The death certificate I have for Joseph states he was born in PA in 1803 to
Abraham & Elizabeth Meyer. Joseph died in 1891 in Sheridan Twp., Calhoun
Co., MI. Joseph married Jane Vanosdol in 1829 in Wayne Co., OH. The 1830
Chester Twp., Wayne Co., OH census records indicate:
- Abraham Myers age 60-70 w/ wife age 60-70
- Joseph Myers age 20-30 w/ wife age 15-20 (Jane was b. 1811 in PA d. 1868
Ashland Co., OH)
- Heinrich Myers age 40-50
- John Myers age 30-40
- Samuel Myers age 20-30

Likewise the 1840 Chester Twp., Wayne Co., OH census records indicate:
- Abram Myers age 70-80 widower
- Joseph Myers age 30-40 w/ wife age 20-30 and 5 children
- Isaac Myers age 40-50
- Jacob Myers age 40-50
- John Myers age 40-50
- Samuel Myers age 30-40
- Henry Myers age 50-60

In my searches I have found 4 possiblities for Abraham and Elizabeth. These
are:
Abraham Meyer m. Elizabeth Fretz
Abraham Myers m. Elizabeth Light
Abraham Mayer m. Elizabeth Lauck/Louck
Abraham Meyer m. Elizabeth Bechtel

I have not found whether or not there could be an Abraham Meyer m. to an
Elizabeth Meyer but it's a possibility I suppose.

If anybody has any information regarding this line or even if you could
point me in the right direction for my search efforts it would be GREATLY
appreciated! Thank you in advance:)
