Connie Leaman

John LEAMAN, son of Peter, was born 1710 - 1726, Lancaster Co., he married
there Elizabeth BRENNEMAN bef. 1757, dau. of Christopher and Margaret.

Children are 1. Abraham B.; 2. Anna B.; 3. John B.; 4. Elizabeth B.;

Joseph B. LEAMAN, born 20 Mar (or May) 1757 d. 11 July 1833. He married
Elizabeth LeFevre dau. of John & Margaret (Henning) 13 Dec 1781, all
Lancaster.

Children's surname is spelled variously LEAMAN and LEHMAN. They are 1.
John ; 2. Charlotte; 3. Joseph; 4. Samuel; 5. George; 6. Abraham; 7.
Elizabeth

Samuel LEAMAN b. 1 Mar 1796; d. 24 Jul 1896; married 1st Barbara HELLER dau.
of John and [?] abt 1836. She died 1846. Married 2nd Elizabeth FREY. All
Lancaster.

Children are: 1. Mary Herr; 2. George H.; 3. John H.; 4. Samuel H.; 5. Hetty

Samuel Heller LEAMAN b. June 1843 d. 25 Apr. 1932, m. Eliza BURKHOLDER dau.
of Joseph and Elizabeth (Reiff) July 1869. All Lancaster.

Children are: 1. Joseph B., 2. Amanda B.; 3. Elizabeth; 4. Emma B.; 5.
Aaron; 6. John B.; 7. William.

Joseph B. LEAMAN broke the mold and moved with members of the Brethren in
Christ Church (aka River Brethren) to the Abilene, Dickinson County, KS area
by 1890, where he married Etta STOLL dau. of Joseph and Elizabeth Ockerd???
1893. They moved then from KS to Maricopa Co., AZ, and finally to Upland,
CA. He was born 17 Aug 1870 d. 26 Sep 1947.
