I wish someone had told ME that early on: I had to learn it the
"hardway".
...and I hope I am NOT TOO old to continue to learn (and willing to do
so).
I have been reasearching family history for over 30 year,s and learned a
lot of thing,s beside ancestor,s and other relative,s. Up to approx. 50
primary surnames narrowed down to the Penna/ German families that mostly
arrived in America in the 1700,s, and settled in the North Eastern part
of Lancaster County and nearby area,s of Leb. & Berks Counties, PA.
By the way, there was a Bruce Roland in the 1944 graduating class of
(then) the New Holland High School, in Lanc. Co., PA
