Subject: [PALAWREN] Donaldson, Hopes, Cartwright families

Looking for information on these three families that lived in the New Castle
area in late 1800's to early 1900's. Eva Hopes born in Ohio, married an
unknown Donaldson they lived near Mahoningtown. Eva and Mr. Donaldson had a
son Raymond Morton Donaldson. Raymond was born on May 10, 1903 or 1902. His
father died while Raymond was a child prior to the taking of the 1910 Census.
After the death of her first husband Eva returned home to Hubbard Ohio to
live with her mother Mary J. Hopes. She worked as a Nurse in the Ohio Works
Plant for US Steel. She did eventually remarry to a Frank Cartwright who was
from the New Castle Area as well. Frank worked as a Supervisor at the Ohio
Works Plant. My Grandfather said that his father, Raymond, had a Uncle but
he had never met him and his father had not seen him since he was a child.
Any info on this familt would be appreciated. I am currently waiting for a
copy of Raymonds obituary, birth certificate and death certificate. When I
get those I will try to add more to this. Thank You
