I seek to share ancestor and descendant information concerning two brothers
who served in the 134th PA Volunteers during the Civil War. I believe they
lived in Union Township.

Col. Edward O'Brien 1823-1877
Pvt. Thomas O'Brien 1825-1862--killed at Fredericksburg

Col. O'Brien was a prominent member of the New Castle, PA community and of
St. Mary's Catholic church. He is buried in St. Mary's cemetery.
