In June 1867, my gr. grandparents Robert McCurdy and Catherine Dietrich were married in Lawrence Co, PA. Robert lived in Indiana Co. and am not sure where the Dietrich family lived but I suspect it was either Indiana or Cambria. I've always wondered why they went all that way instead of being married in Indiana. Can anyone give me any ideas? Where there any other families by these names living in Lawrence at that time. Just looking for any clues that I may have missed.
