I was cleaning out my email (it's worse than my attic) when I came across
your Stump request. I don't know if my STUMPs are your STUMPs, but if they
are I got some stuff for you. (Actually it is not my work it was passed on
to me.) An Elisabeth STUMP married a Jacob Neufurt/Neuferth/Neifert ca 1760
in Albany Twp, Berks Co PA and that's how I'm related to the STUMPs. Albany
Twp is the northern tip of Berks Co. I had other relative from Berks that
moved on to Lebanon so that's a possibility, but there were a LOT of STUMPS.
In any case Daniel STUMP , b. 1704/1705, a wagonner married on 7 May 1737
Maria HOHENSTEIN b. 1714. They had the following issue:
Maria b. 1738; Elisabeth b. 1739; Johann Jacob b. 1742, John George b.
1743/44; Christina b. 1746; Catherine b. 1747; Daniel b. 1751; Margarethe b.
1753; Barbara b. 1759; and (a second) Elisabeth b. 1761. I have family back
to the midsixteen hundreds in Germany for this family. Let me know if/when
they out to be yours..
