Hi List Members -
I am new to the list - am researching the following surnames -
Houck, Anna Mary Vallentine, b. 1862, d/o Susan Bucher and Henry Houck/
married in 1883
Matthes, Frank Augustus, b. c, 1860

I have just found that Anna Mary and her mother, Susan Bucher Houck both
died in 1903. Was there a flu epidemic or something that might have caused
both of their deaths in the same year? Any help greatly appreciated.
