Subject: [PALEBANO] Paper Mills near Alsace, Berks Co PA, Heidelberg, Lebanon Co. PA and Cocalico, Lancaster Co., PA

I just received information that indicated that my ancestor, Peter ADAM, worked for a paper mill when he lived in Alsace, Berks Co., PA between 1800-1810. About 1809 he and his wife, Elizabeth LICHTY removed to Heidelberg Twp, Lebanon Co., PA where he purchased land and set up a Paper Mill. He died in 1836 and the will indicated that the land in Heidelberg Twp had a paper mill on it.
Peter and Elizabeth had several children: Samuel, Peter, Joseph, Edward, Maria Appolonia "Belonia", Sarah and Elizabeth. (Peter must have died prior to 1836 as he is not mentioned in probate records). He also owned land in Cocalico Twp. I believe they may be descended from the ADAM / ADDAMS who founded Adamstown near Cocalico (formerly Addamsberry).
Does anyone else have ancestors associated with a paper mill in these areas? Also, does anyone know anything about these Paper Mills?
Bonita
