Barbara,

There is a 213 Water Street in Allentown, PA, which is in Lehigh County.
According to Mapquest (www.mapquest.com), Water Street starts at the banks
of the Lehigh River and runs up hill to 7th Street. 7th runs through the
Center City area (7th & Hamilton). 213 Water Street is between Union Street
and Lawrence Street. I think the houses that used to be there have been
torn down, but I could be wrong.

The fairgrounds probably refer to the Allentown Fairgrounds, which is
located just west of Center City (between 17th and 20th Streets). Dorney
Park is located farther west past Cedar Crest Boulevard (several miles
away). It is possibly that she was referring to the Allentown Fairgrounds.
It is also possible that the fairgrounds used to located closer to the
Lehigh River in the 1800's. Does anyone else have any thoughts?
