Simon and Eva Frankenfiled, natives of Nassau, Rhine Valley, Germany
came on the ship Elliot, Oct. 25. 1748. Settled in Springfield, Bucks
county. Their three sons were born in Germany;(1) Philip Peter, born
Nov. 18, 1735, died March 3, 1815 married to Maafa Mill born in America,
Jan 1, 1740, died Oct. 2, 1833 (aged 94) they had 11 children; 81
grandchildren; and 166 great-grandchildren. They are both buried in
Hecktown, Northampton, PA;(2) Henry Frankenfied was born in Germany,
enlisted in Capt. Jacob Shoops company. (Rev. War);(3) Adam
Frankfenfield was born in Germany in 1746, died Feb. 15, 1832 (aged 86)
he married first to Catharine _____ and they had 7 children, viz; Henry,
Michael, Leonard, Abraham, Jacob, Philip, and Catharine, who married
George Gruver.

His 2nd wife was Elizabeth Strawnitter, they had 8 children; Anna
Margaret. Samuel, Elizabeth, Eva, Isaac, Susanna, Christina, and Simon.
By his 3rd marriage (wife not named) he had no children.

Lehigh County History Page 525-528

This family had its origin in Jacob Heilman, came to America and the
ship Anderson, Aug. 21, 1750. Tradition states that he was followed by
his brother Christian Heilman, on the ship, The Halifax, Sept. 28, 1753.
The tax list of Lowhill township, Lehigh County contains the names of
Jacob and Christian Heilman.

About the time of the Rev. the name Christian Heilman disappers from the
township, before mentioned, he having taken an active part in the Rev.
War, from Northampton county, so did Jacob, George and Peter Heilman ( I
put Heilman up on the Lebanon county board, it has information on Jacob,
George and Peter Helman)

John Heilman, grandson of Jacob, he married Catharine Diehl, their
children; Samuel, John and Mrs, Benjamin Diehl. John Heilman Sr., died
young and his widow married again and moved to Lehighton, PA.

Samue Heilman, was born in Lowhill, in 1810, he died in 1864, he married
Anna Guth, their children; Edwin, Clarissa married Samuel Heiburger,
Malinda married Owen Haaf, Sarah died single, Isreal married Minnie
Mohr, and Matilda married Amanda Kuhns.

John Heilman Jr., was born (was a posthumous son of John Heilman Sr.)
was born 3/29/1811,died 12/20/1879, he married Maria Guth born 1808, on
12/25/1831, their children; Mannetta married James Hammel, Catharine
married William Helfrich, Johannes (1837-1847), Eliza married Cliton
Troxel, Catharine S., married Levi Wenner, Elmira (1845-1846), Horace
married Elmina Litzenberger, Clara (1848-1848) Uriah P., married 1st
Vesta Deemer, 2nd Vesta Moyer.

Edwin son of Samuel Heilman, was born 4/18/1833, he married 10/6/1856 to
Brgitta Heninger, d/o John and Susanna (Guth) Henniger. Their children;
Oscar J. (1857-1898), Clara married Jacob D. Kuhns, Elmer (1861-1902)
ran a hardware store at Reading, Samuel E., Susam died at 18, Mary M.,
died at 7years, Lillie B., Rev. Edgar J., stationed at Dauphin county,
Prof, William F., Dr. Jacob D. Morris, died as a baby, Laura and Eva M.

David Heilman, son of Jacob of Lowhill, born 1816, died 1885, married
Sally Ann Minnich, d/o John of South Whitehall, born in 1848 died 1n
1896, they had 6 children; Edwin H., married Leanna Smith; Benjamin F.;
Peter J. married Ellen Kleppinger at Catasaqua; Sarah A. E., married
William Deibert; Thileiah Drusilla married Jeremiah Haas.
