No problem; however, Rootsweb should fix the problem. I have seen too
many good lists dissolve to very little active because other formats were
being promoted. All media types are valid; however, the mailing list has its
special attributes that are very valuable and should not be changed. If someone
wants to create something different, that is find, that is welcomed; but a
mailing list should promote peoples "interaction"---------yes, sometimes information
is repeated; but this is what helps discover new avenues of research. The
mailing list is where you can discuss the material while receiving the material.
I would suggest that more people contribute to the list and more of us mail
listers voice our appreciation to people who so unselfishly share from their
resources. We should never ask a willing helper to do extra work like maintaining
a website!
