We are glad to say that Mr.W.A. Curtis is some better than he was
last week.
### This is my G/grandfather William Alexander Curtis/November 02,
1842/December 12, 1926...
He was a Vet from the civil war...

Miss Alma Parkerson, from Indianola is visiting relative here. She is
with her cousin Ida Curtis now.
### Alma is the daughter of John Thomas Parkerson & Ida Maranda
Canon... Ida Curtis is the daughter of Luther Hudson Curtis & Nancy
Emaline Canon so these two cousins, Alma Parkerson & Ida Curtis,
have mother's as sister's...

Mrs. W.D. Thomas & children Beryl & Barney called the home of Mr. L.H.
Curtis Sun.
### This is Edda Moretta Ballard is the wife of William Dexter Thomas
and Mr. L.H. Curtis is my
Grandfather Luther Hudson Curtis.

M/M A.L. Bailey & Mr. Author Cook, also Drew Thomas & Leon Cook dined
in the home of Mr. L.H. Curtis Sunday.
### This is Absolem Leon Bailey & his wife Martha Adolpha Ballard...
Martha & Edda, from above, are
sister's and their mother is Rebecca Winfield Curtis who is a sister
to my G/grandfather William Alexander Curtis... I think that the
Cook's were just friend's of the family... Drew Thomas is the son of
William Dexter Thomas & Edda Moretta Ballard and he married Ida Mavis
Curtis March 29, 1929...
There is a cousin connection here...HA!!! Of course every one dined at
the home of my Curtis grandparent's on Sunday... I will post something
that I have started on Papa Curtis next...

Deck Thomas spent Sat. night with Luther Curtis.
### Deck Thomas is Deck Curtis Thomas a son of "Will" and Edda Thomas
and Luther is Luther Sisson Curtis a son of Papa & Granny Curtis...

M/M O.H. McElroy & Mrs. Elba Bailey spent Sun with M/M L.H. Curtis.
### Now we get to my parents, Oliver Hazzard McElroy & Erma Canon
Curtis... As you can see my
mother had Canon as her middle name... Elba Baily is Elba May Canon,
the 3rd sister to Ida & "Emmie"
Canon... As you can see a croud is gathering at the home of Papa 7
Granny...

Messrs. Clyde Gibson, Edgar Rodgers, Luther Curtis & Emmett Ray
attended the party at Mr. Nat Jones
### Not much to say about this one as Clyde Gibson is Clyde Alonzo
Gibson a son of Bertie Ann Curtis who is a sister to Papa Curtis and
Luther is of course his cousin and it seems as if the boy's
are getting together at the home of Nat Jones for a party... Clyde was
born October 04, 1905 and we
both ate fish on his birthday at Carmack...
