Hazleton Plain Speaker, September 4, 1930

Wedding - SUNTAG-FAYOCK. Miss Anna FAYOCK, of Hazleton, and Frank SUNTAG,
of McAdoo, were married Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock at St. Mary's Greek
Catholic church, Hazleton, by the Rev. Father John SZABO. The bride was
given in marriage by Michael HOPPY and wore a gown of white panine satin
with close fitting bodice and shirred waistline. Mrs. Helen HOPPY was the
matron of honor; Miss Mary TUPY, Beaver Meadow and Miss Anna REGRUIT, of
Hazleton, were the bridesmaids. John SHERBA, Beaver Meadow, was the best
man, and John BOLOGANSKI was the other attendant.

Wedding - HAY-COFFMAN. Miss Mary COFFMAN, of Carlisle, formerly of
Hazleton, was married yesterday to Rev. Hugh HAY, of Carlisle. The
ceremony took place at the parsonage of the Camp Curtin M.E. church,
Harrisburg, Dr. A.S. FASICK, pastor, formerly of St. Paul's M.E. church,
this city, officiating.

Hazleton Plain Speaker, September 5, 1930

Wedding - CATALDO-KOKINDA. Nicholas CATALDO and Miss Helen KOKINDA were
married yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock in the Holy Rosary church, by Rev.
Henry LUCHI. They were attended by Miss Eva KOKINDA, sister of the bride,
and Julius MASTROTA, a cousin of the groom. Miss Mildred MAGGIO played the
wedding march. Anthony MASTROTA, a cousin of the groom, sang "Ave Maria"
and "O Promise Me." After the ceremony, a reception took place at the home
of Mrs. Anna LAVIAN, an aunt of the bride.

Mr. and Mrs. Lazarus D. RIFKIN of 59 Terrace street, Wilkes-Barre, announce
the engagement of their daughter Miss Julia to Dr. Harry HERMAN, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Jacob HERMAN of Philadelphia.

Chief of police George W. BROWNSON, of 627 Grant street accompanied by his
wife left today for Providence, R.I. where their daughter Marjorie will
enter a normal school.

Hazleton Plain Speaker, September 6, 1930

Cecil Hooley, of Brooklyn, N.Y., returned there after the funeral of his
son Robert, aged one year which was held yesterday morning at 11 o'clock
from the undertaking parlors of George F. Krapf, West Hazleton undertaker
and interment in Berwick. The mother of the child, formerly of Hazleton
was unable to attend the funeral due to illness.

Miss Ina BABBITT, aged 45, of South Wyoming street, who is receiving
medical treatment at the State Hospital, was seriously ill today.

The annual BITTLER-BOYLE family reunion was held at Evergreen Park, St.
Johns yesterday. The following local people attended: Mr. and Mrs. Monroe
BITTLER and Mildred BITTLER, Jeanesville, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas PAISLEY,
Alice, Thelma, Dorothy and Edward PAISLY of Harwood, Miss Catherine
BITTLER, Mr. and Mrs. Freas BOYLE and Edith BOYLE of Sybertsville; Mr and
Mrs. Charles BOYLE and William, Ethel, Howard and Marion BOYLE of
Sybertsville, Pa.; Mr. and Mrs. Edward BOYLE and Maurice BOYLE of West
Hazleton; Ernest BOYLE, Hazleton; George FEY, West Hazleton; Wm. KUNKLE,
Harwood. The oldest member was Edward BOYLE of West Hazleton, aged 67, and
the youngest, Edward PAISLEY, of Harwood, aged 1 year, 14 days, grandson of
Edward BOYLE.

Paul KAKLACICK, aged 18, of 825 Grant street, is missing from home since
last night and his parents have asked the co-operation of the police in
locating him.

Wedding - ELLIOTT-TORMAY. Announcement has been made of the marriage of
Miss Margaret A. TORMAY to John L. ELLIOTT, both of this city, which took
place recently. The ceremony was performed in St. Gabriel's church, by
Rev. Father Thomas J. KELLY. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H.J.
TORMAY and has been engaged as a member of the Red Cross nursing staff in
this city for several years.

Wedding - DeJOSEPH-LANNA. Miss Theresa LANNA, of Bound Brook, N.J., and
Tony DeJOSEPH, of Hazleton, were united in marriage by Squire D. J. DUGAN,
at Mauch Chunk, on Saturday.

Wedding - KLINE-LEFKOWITZ. At a bridge luncheon at the Priscilla-Ann, Mr.
and Mrs. Abe KLINE announced the wedding of their daughter, Miss Hannah
KLINE, to Morris LEFKOWITZ, also of this city. The ceremony was performed
Thursday afternoon, August 28, at a Wilkes-Barre synagogue by Rabbi ADAMS.
