Jacob Scherry aka John Cherry (Bavarian immigrant in 1852) married Elisabetha
Gotz (Baden, Germany immigrant), their kids were:

Adam SCHERRY b. 1869 never married
Elizabeth SCHERRY b. 1870 married a BUTTMAN
Catherine SCHERRY b. 1872 married a NORTON
Matilda SCHERRY b. 1875 married a BRUNN
Anthony Scherry b. 1877 not sure if married
Anna SCHERRY b. 1880 married a EVANS
Emma SCHERRY b. 1887 d. 1975 married Charles FAHNESTOCK JONES (lived in
Sugar Notch)
Fredrick SCHERRY/CHERRY b. 1889 not sure of wife's name, daughter was
Eleanor CHERRY BENNETT of Phili
Jacob, Edward and William - all died before age 4

The Scherry/Cherry family lived at 102 Arch St. for at least 50 years. When
Elisabetha died in 1943, I think her grand daughter bought the house. If
anyone has info, please let me know.
