Kay,

I found them at the LDS site www.familysearch.org in the 1880 census which
you can search yourself.
I tried to find him in the 1870 census via Heritage Quest but, since I
didn't know his parents' names, I was unsuccessful. I also looked for
Franklin in the 1910 census but there were too many to search and I didn't
know where he had settled. Hope this is helpful.
