Hello List,

I am searching for Mary Ellen COPE. She was born in Williamsport, Lycoming
County, PA., Feb. 21. 1859. Her Fatheer was John COPE who marrird Jane
Waggett, daughter of Henry WAGGETT and Elizabeth HUNT of Yorkshire,
England.. By 1879 Mary Ellen COPE was in Solomon, Dickinson Co., Kansas,
where she married Hubert WEAVER. She died in 1950.

Does anyone know anything about the COPES? The WIGGETTS? Does anyone know
why a large group migrated to Kansas from Wmsport at this time?

Any help will be appreciated.
