McKean County, Penna.

I have a booklet of the Flood of 1942 of N.Y. and Pa. I am from Coryville,
Pa., near Farmers Valley, Pa. At that time (1942) I lived in Niagara Falls,
N.Y., but my Mother in law lived in Eldred,Pa. My husband ( Chas. Baker)
and some other men went to see the results of the town, having to travel
all around the area to even get near the town of Eldred, where his Mother
lived. This little booklet shows pictures of Eldred, Port Allegany, Smethport,
Bradford, Olean, N.Y. I am Rebecca Hill's Mother, where she got the info.
about your request. If I can be of any further help, but don't know much
more.
