Bradford Evening Star September 24, 1901 Bradford, Pa.
Death From Paralysis. - Mrs. Mary Jane (LYNCH) CARD, one of the oldest
residents of this city, died at 2 oclock this morning at her home, No.
29 Jerome avenue, from a stroke of paralysis, which she suffered about
a week ago.
Deceased was born in Ohio, March 2, 1821, and was, therefore, in her 81st
year.
She leaves to mourn the loss of a devoted mother, four daughters and two
sons:
Mrs. Lois SULLIVAN, Miss Mary and Della CARD, of this city and Mrs. C.M.
MILLER, of Franklin; Mr. James L. CARD of Franklin, and Mr. Frank S. CARD,
of Carlo, Elk County, Pa.
Deceased was held in high esteem by a wide circle of friends, and retained
her faculties in a wonderful manner up to the time of her last illness.
