Surname: CLARK, COOK, SMITH

In the 1850 Census of Port Allegany, my Grandfather Michael Clark is enumerated
with his son Daniel and Julia Ann Cummings Clark. He is age 78. Also enumerated
with them is Simeon Cook age45, Mary Cook age 48. David Smith age 20, Sally
Smith age 13 and Maria Cook age 7 int that order. In the 1840 Census of
Painted Post, Steuben Co, NY. Michael Clark is listed in it and below him
is a Mary Smith with two children that would match up age wise with David
and Sally. I think Mary is Mary Clark daughter of Michael 1/2 sister of
Daniel Clark and a widow of a Mr Smith from Painted Post area. Is anyone
related to this Cook family and knows if I am right or not?
