Mortimer DRISCOLL, Patrick DRISCOLL, and Cornelius REGAN were all early
settlers in the vicinity of Sartwell, McKean Co., PA, USA. Mortimer &
Patrick DRISCOLL both named sons Jeremiah. The parents of my
gg-grandmother, Mary (McAULIFFE) O'KIEFF, were *erroneously* identified on
her death certificate as Dennis & Mary (DRISCOLL) McAULIFFE; Mary was in
fact the dau. of Michael & Bridget (REGAN) McAULIFFE. Despite this error,
Mary (McAULIFFE) O'KIEFF was probably somehow related to the DRISCOLLs.
Cornelius REGAN was probably the brother of Bridget (REGAN) McAULIFFE. For
more information, please refer to the McAULIFFE documents at my web site.

Using the Index to Griffith's Valuation of Ireland (1848-1864) for Cork,
Ireland, I have determined that the only Parish in which the names of
Mortimer DRISCOLL, Patrick DRISCOLL, Jeremiah DRISCOLL, and Cornelius REGAN
co-existed was Skull Parish on the southwestern seaboard.

Within Skull Parish, the only Townlands in which a Cornelius REGAN
co-existed with a DRISCOLL were Ardmanagh (Mortimer DRISCOLL) and Long
Island (Jeremiah DRISCOLL); another Cornelius REGAN resided in
Cooradarrigan Townland. I would love to hear from anyone else who is
researching DRISCOLL or REGAN families of SKULL Parish, particularly in
these Townlands.

Thanks for your help!
