Surname: Dana
-------------------------

McKean county, Warner Dana.
I don't know too much about the family history, but here's a story my grandfather,
and father (James R. Dana Sr. and Jr.) like to throw around:(I also remember
the name Warner Dana from a roots project I did four or five years ago)...
Apparently Warner's parents died when he was young, but they had a bit
of money, living in Bradford, something about a hotel. They left the money
to Warner's uncle to raise him and then pass on to him when he was older,
but when he was 18, they sent him off with some money (either 100 or 200
dollars) and he went to Erie.
I could be wrong, but that is the story I remember.
