BUCKINGHAM, WALTER H.

Died Friday, May 29, 1987, in Baton Rouge. He was a resident of Baton Rouge, born in Kansas City, Mo., and reared in Bradford Pa. He was a retired Transco Inc. division manager. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, and 8 a.m. until religious services, 10 a.m. Monday, conducted by the Rev. William Nowell. Burial in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by wife, Charlotte Hoffmeister Buckingham; two sons, Neil H. Buckingham, Slidell, and Gregg H. Buckingham, Baton Rouge; a daughter-in-law, Michele Buckingham, Slidell; and two grandchildren, Travis and Courtney Buckingham, both of Slidell. He was a Mason and a member of Union Lodge No. 334, F&AM, Bradford. He was a 1938 graduate of Duke University. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice Foundation of Greater Baton Rouge, 3538 Cole Dr., 70806, or Cancer Society of Greater Baton Rouge, 650 Steele Blvd., 70806.
