Westmoreland Co. researcher found the children of Simon and Magdalina (Turney or Dorney) Uber. I had Magdalina Twiney married to 1st Simon and 2nd Abraham UBER (brothers). Mercer Co. Cem. Inscrip. V.1, p. 15, Amsterdam Cem.

UBER, Abraham 1778 - Dec 20, 1848 age 80y 8m 8d.
Westmoreland Co. researcher, "Children of Simon and Magdalina (Turney or Dorney). Maria b. 4-27-1788, bpt 10-10-1788. Sponsors: Daniel Dorney and wife."
"I believe that the original spelling would have been Turney, as this is the spelling for the earliest baptisms". Have other Uber researchers started down this path? Phyllis Mock McWilliams.
