Looking for any information on the following:

Clinton GEORGE (b. ABT 1800 in NY) migrated to Erie, PA prior to 1830

m1. ------ (illegible on census). Had the following children: i. Abijah, ii. Nancy (m. Capt. William W.W. WOOD), iii. Melvin C. (m. Sophia TUNISON), iv. ------, v. Adelaide, vi. Cornelius, vii. Frank C.

m2. "Lizzie" UNKNOWN. Had the following children: viii. Crittendon G, ix. Victoria.

+Melvin C. GEORGE (b. 1835) married Sophia TUNISON and moved to Richmond, IL. (1860 census). Had the following children: i. James M. (b. 1864), ii. Clinton Melvin (b. 1866). Melvin disappears after this. The children end up in Mercer 1870 living with Sophia's mother Hannah TUNISON. Sophia remarries John TEMPLE before 1880.

++Clinton Melvin GEORGE(b. 1866) married Vinnie M. FOX (d/o Joseph A. and Katherine FOX)

Looking for any information on the GEORGE's listed here, especially any information on what happened to Melvin C. GEORGE. Would suspect Civil War if is son hadn't been born in 1866.
