Hello, I am new to the list. I just discovered my ggggrandfather was
possibly from Armagh twsp. Mifflin county. His name is Jacob Showers, I found
him in the 1850 census, w. Mary and 6 children, George 17, John 16, Samuel
11, Mary 8, William 6, James 2, I believe William is my gggrandfather. In
later years he moved on to Lancater county, is where I found him with his
family. In the 1850 census Jacob was 44, which would have him b. in 1806. Any
help or info about this family would be appreciated.
