Hi I am new to this page. I have a grandmother from the early 1800s named
Phoebe who I cannot connect to any parents. She was Phoebe/Phebe Starkey,
born January 2, 1810 in PA. She married November 22, 1828 in Belmont Co.,
Ohio to Robeson/Robinson Lappin. The family moved on to Vinton/Morgan Co.,
Ohio and then by 1854 to Wayne Co., Illinois.

There are many unconnected Starkeys in Belmont Co., Ohio and Mifflin Co., may
be the place they came from. Does anyone have a missing girl in their family
that might fit the above Phoebe. She named her children: Elizabeth, Robert
William, Sarah, Mary, William Kirk, Ann, Rachel Ann, Allise, John Wesley,
George Finley, Eliza Jane, Sylvester, and Phebe Telitha. Elizabeth, Robert,
William, Sarah, Mary, Ann and Rachel all are family names of her father, but
could be mother also. The other names have no connection with her fathers
family.

I have asked for Starkey relatives to send in data to Belmont Co. page to try
and put this Starkey puzzle together, but perhaps someone in your county is
missing a girl.

Thanks you.
