Hello all,
I recently joined this list to find help with researching my
genealogy in these areas. I'm interested in learning about Mesic, NC
and the surrounding areas.
I was wondering if anyone has used software that runs on the
web, specifically on the server. I was checking out phpGedView and ran
into some problems.
If anyone has used this, could you help me out, please? I seem
to be running into errors that should be happening or there is no
documentation that I can find that will explain how and why these things
are happening.
phpGedView lets you create a GED from scratch on the site. So, I
thought I did that starting with myself. The problem is that after
having done this, the system does not find anything related to my family
tree. A search on Whealton turns up nothing. And yet I have 2 copies
of my family tree, which I have no idea why that happened.
If you can help, I'll pass on the login information. I've
already installed and uninstalled and then reinstalled the application
hoping to get things right. I'm not sure what to do now. Let me know
if you can help, please.
I can add the username/pw to the site as there is nothing there
that anyone that sees this can grab and use to cause problems.
