I am doing some preliminary research on the surname TREKE of Southeastern
Pennsylvania, late 18th to early 19th century, which was handed dow in the
family through oral tradition. I have searched gendex.com for TREKE (none),
Soundex T620, and have not found many in PA. I have searched several
on-line genealogical databases, to no avail. Is anyone researching TREKE or
Soundex T620 in PA, 1750-1850?

Mr. TREKE married Charlotte DEHAVEN, "a Quaker of Lebanon Co., PA" (I have
queried QUAKER-ROOTS-L and DEHAVEN-L at rootsweb.com). Their daughter,
Rachel TREKE m. MILLER of Augusta Lutheran Church, Trappe, Montgomery Co.,
PA. Thanks for any and all leads!!!
Sue
