Subject: Early Northampton County Church Records

A couple of months ago, I made an inquiry concerning EARLY GERMAN LUTHERAN
CHURCH RECORDS. I had several useful responses including two that suggested
that I order microfilm #1029737 entitled Pennsylvania, Northampton County;
Index of Church Records - Surnames beginning A through Res. from my local LDS
Family History Center. The original index is located at the Easton, Pa.
library. I ordered the microfile and obtained the following references from
the index that hopefully will provide the information that I have been
searching for. Most of the references were from a church that was referred to
in the index with the initial W. In my excitement, I unfortunately did not
copy down which of the churches that were being indexed was represented by the
initial W.

I am enclosing those references that I wish to explore further. Hopefully one
of you kind soles that live in the Easton, Pa. area or enyone having access to
the books will have time to look them up for me. The references are as
