Hi there,
Anyone researching BITTNER in Lowhill Twp., Northampton Co.? The is an
article in "The Morning Call" today titled "Out of the ashes" which
describes the loss of several local barns to arsonists. One arsonist got
29-58 and the other got 2 1/2-5 and 35 years probation!
Anyway, there is a picture of the BITTNER family standing in front of their
PA-German-style barn circa 1900, which was once owned by Gen. Harry
TREXLER. I am not sure if the present owners Robert and Dawn Costello are
descendants or not.
