Sorry to hear that, hope it's just the one location and not
both. (it really was a favorite of mine)

On the subject of the Northampton Hist. Soc., not recommending
it was intentional. I've had several attempts to get there, all
of which have failed. Starting from a few years ago when they
were just plain totally closed, to several times trying to get
an appointment where I never got calls backs, to written requests
ignored, I finally gave up. Now that was over a year ago
when I stopped trying, and I hope the situation has changed.
At least at the time, I had been told by a couple of others
that they had similar experiences so that they had a real
accessibility problem.
