I'm looking for any information on MICHAEL CASSIDY (my ggfather),
CHRISTOPHER CASSIDY (my gfather) and/or MARY ELIZABETH ENGLEHARDT (my
gmother).

MICHAEL and his only son, CHRISTOPHER, emigrated to the U.S. from
Ireland through Philadelphia in 1872 and settled in the the Shahola-Port
Jervis area of Northampton County, where CHRISTOPHER later met and
married MARY ELIZABETH ENGLEHARDT (my gmother ). They had several
children in PA, later moving to Kingston, NY; and finally to Bridgeport,
CT.

MICHAEL doesn't seem to have left any footprints in PA after
emigrating. Perhaps he died there soon after. If so, when ? And
where is he buried ? Family lore has it that there was a connection
between the ENGLEHARDT family and the SMALLEY family in that area at the
time, but I've been unable to confirm this.
