am researching all Heilman and Hileman families from Northampton County. I am a descendant of Michael Hileman who appears to have been born in Northampton County in 1767. His father was Christian Hileman who was the original immigrant and the father of Peter Hileman b. 1749. Peter was born of Christian's first wife. My Michael was a child that was born of Christian's second wife after living in Northampton Co. for some time.

It is a little know fact that Christian had a second child, however it is mentioned in "The History of Armstrong County" by Beers, and backed up by family documents I now have. I would really like to hear from anyone who has information to share or who would like to know what I have to share.
