I'm curious if anyone on the list has any information on Susanna
SMITH/SCHMIDT born 11 August 1804 and died 10 September 1887, the wife of
Jacob Correll. She is buried at St. Matthew's Cemetery in Kunkletown and I
suspect they were from the (old) Chesnuthill Township area, now Eldred. I
know there are several Smiths she could be descended from: an Abraham,
Abraham Jr., Jacob, and John, and likely more. We thought Susanna was a
Silvius but have determined (with the EXCELLENT help of listmember Tracy
R.!!!) from the baptism of at least one of their children that Susanna was a
Smith. I would just like to back this information up through a Smith
researcher if possible. And I have pictures of their headstones at St.
Matthew's Cemetery I hate to go to waste . . . .
