My posting on the Northampton Archives and the Warner family has
generated some discussion. Here, for now, are some answers to questions
sent directly to me:

Re: Archives. I had no appointment and no problem being admitted. It
probably is a good idea to call first to make sure your visit is
convenient. The building is to the right of the prison and there was a
sign pointing right to the door for the Archives.

To Joyce Diehl: Do you know when your Anna Maria Warner was born? There
was an Anna Maria born in this family, 13 July 1803. In case it turns
out that Michael and Ursula are not her parents, you may want to look at
John and Catherine instead.
Alternately, I have some Name Index pages from Easton Pub Lib and see
there are some entries for Michael and Ursula which look like the source
is Fackenthal. Probably burial records for Bucks Co. Do you want the
pages?

To Deb: The names Jacob, Mary and John are familiar to me but pretty
unspecific. I don't have any Pobst (are you sure it isn't Probst?) in my
database. Do you have any dates?

To anyone else having Warner/Werner questions, I have several Northampton
county outlines which have helped me sort out this family. There was the
family headed by Jacob Werner in Bushkill Twp and the Moravian family in
Bethlehem headed by Daniel Warner with an A. The way I've gotten to
where I have has been to eliminate these two families first. There were
many, many more Warner/Werners in the area and, if you have anyone you
want me to check, I have several records that don't connect to mine but
might connect to yours.
