My ggg grandfather, Henry Schlegel (also Schlagel, Slagle) was from Moore


Township. He married Catherine Schott about 1819 and appears in
the 1820

census. After having two children, Julia Ann and Gideon, he
moved on

Luzerne County (possibly) and finally Butler County in
1827. There are

three other Schlegels in Moore Township - John, Conrad, and Nicholas, which


could be Henry's father, but I have not established a connection with any
of

them. Any information on Henry and his ancestors would be
greatly

appreciated. I have a lot of information on his
descendants.
