I have always enjoyed the tidbits Geri has so laboriously contributed to this site. Since I am a descendant of the
Weavers/Webers from Lebanon, Union and Centre Cos., I have read the Weaver postings with particular interest. Who knows where my
Weavers came from before that - maybe Geri's postings will add some tidbit of information that will help me to discover that!
That's why we subscribe to these lists. If you live in the area your ancestors came from, you have an advantage. I simply am not
able to scour all of eastern PA in search of my ancestors - and books can be hard to come by. So, when someone puts information
of genealogical substance out there on the net, I am thrilled, to say the least. I should have thanked Geri long ago, but
sometimes it takes a controversy to propel us into action. Thanks, Geri, for all you share with us. And if anyone out there
knows anything about the Schutzes of Northampton County, I'm eager to talk.
