(1837)as a Treamster

Monroe County-cemetery
Michael-Walter Burial ground. The old burial ground of the congregation
from Zion Lutheran Church. In 1936 there only 25 tombstones left,
families, Holderman, Mevine, Courtright, Micael and Walter.

Halderman, Christoper, same #'s as above. Soldier was born in Aug.,
1759, he applied 1854 at Lancaster and mentioned a wife who had died
many years ago. He enlisted at Chester Co., PA, a son David was aged 51
and lived in Lancaster and was still there in 1857 and his father was
living with him. In 1854 a David Halderman was aged 61 and made aff'dt .
